Senior Bids & Proposals Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Bids & Proposals Engineer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector to lead end‑to‑end proposal development and tendering activities.

• Proposal Strategy Development
  :
  Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements and company strategy. Analyze RFQs, tenders and ITTs to develop winning bid strategies. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC and operations teams to define scope, timelines and costing. Conduct market and competitor analysis to enhance proposal competitiveness.
• Bid Management Coordination
  :
  Manage the complete bid lifecycle from inquiry to submission. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for timely inputs. Track deadlines, ensure submission compliance and maintain proposal schedules.
• Costing
  :
  Develop accurate cost estimates, pricing models and financial proposals. Work closely with finance to ensure profitability and cost competitiveness. Evaluate commercial risks and ensure alignment with company margins.
• Client Interaction Negotiation
  :
  Act as the primary point of contact during the bidding stage. Address client queries, clarifications, and technical discussions. Lead negotiations and follow‑ups to secure orders.
• Risk Compliance Management
  :
  Identify and mitigate technical, commercial and contractual risks. Ensure proposals comply with client specifications, industry standards and company policies.
• Documentation Reporting
  :
  Maintain comprehensive records of all proposals and related documentation. Provide regular updates on bid status, success rates and pipeline to management.
• Project Handover Internal Coordination
  :
  Support smooth transition from proposal to execution. Participate in internal kick‑off meetings and assist in budget set‑up. Coordinate across departments during initial project stages.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or related).
• 8–15 years of experience in bids & proposals within Oil & Gas / EPC sector.
• Strong understanding of tendering, estimation, and contract terms.
• Proven track record of winning major projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimation tools.
