Junior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities to ensure the successful execution of road and infrastructure projects.

• Assist in the preparation, updating, and monitoring of project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Support the development of baseline programs, recovery plans, and look‑ahead schedules.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
• Collect and analyze project data from site teams for progress reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors to gather planning information.
• Assist in identifying schedule risks, delays, and critical activities.
• Support resource planning, productivity analysis, and forecasting activities.
• Maintain planning records and ensure proper documentation of project schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare related planning updates.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction planning, preferably in road or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of project scheduling principles, critical path method (CPM), and progress measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
