Technical Manager – Fuel Additives & Performance Solutions

UAE (Ras Al Khaimah) with travel across Africa and GCC regions

Managing Director / Business Head Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with expertise in fuel additives, refinery chemicals, lubricant additives, and fuel treatment technologies.

The incumbent will serve as the technical expert supporting customers, distributors, and the sales team by recommending additive solutions that improve fuel quality, engine performance, emissions, storage stability, and operational efficiency.

• Act as subject matter expert for fuel additives and fuel treatment technologies.
• Support customers in resolving fuel quality, storage, combustion, and performance-related challenges.
• Conduct technical audits, troubleshooting, product trials, and performance assessments.
• Support formulation development and product customization.
• Deliver technical presentations and training programs.
• Support sales teams during customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, EN, and regional fuel specifications.

Expertise

• Gasoline:
  Octane Boosters, Deposit Control Additives, Fuel System Cleaners, Stabilizers, Corrosion Inhibitors.
• Diesel:
  Cetane Improvers, Lubricity Improvers, Cold Flow Improvers, Anti-Gel Additives, Injector Cleaners, Combustion Catalysts.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, Fuel Technology, or Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in Fuel Additives, Lubricant Additives, Refinery Chemicals, Technical Services, Fuel Quality Management, Specialty Chemicals, Petroleum Products, or Refinery/Petrochemical Operations.
