Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Surveyor to join our road construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, establishing control points, performing construction staking, and ensuring accurate alignment and positioning of road infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support project execution and compliance with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct topographic, route, and construction surveys for road and infrastructure projects.
- Establish survey control points, benchmarks, and reference markers.
- Perform construction staking and setting out for roads, drainage systems, culverts, utilities, and related structures.
- Operate surveying equipment including GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, levels, and data collectors.
- Collect, process, and verify survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare survey reports, field notes, drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design plans, and specifications.
- Monitor construction activities to verify alignment, elevations, and dimensions.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site personnel to resolve survey-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment as required.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional Surveyor certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE surveying experience, preferably in road construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of topographic, construction, and cadastral surveying principles.
- Experience with GPS/GNSS, total stations, digital levels, and survey data processing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driving license preferred.
