Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in Ras Al Khaimah. The Land Surveyor will conduct field surveys for building and infrastructure projects, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys, using total stations and other surveying instruments. Responsibilities include setting out works on site, collecting and validating survey data, preparing survey drawings and reports, and coordinating with project engineers and site supervision teams.
The role involves verifying site levels and dimensions, monitoring construction progress against design drawings, and ensuring that all survey work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures. The Land Surveyor will also support documentation for approvals, maintain accurate records of survey activities, and help resolve on-site discrepancies.
- Proficiency in core surveying practices, including Land Surveying and Surveying for building and infrastructure projects.
- Hands‑on experience with Topographic Surveys, including data collection, processing, and preparation of survey plans.
- Skilled in operating Total Station equipment and related surveying instruments, with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Experience in Building Surveying, including setting out, as‑built surveys, and verification of construction works.
- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with survey and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) for preparing drawings and layouts.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Prior experience on building or infrastructure projects in the Gulf region is an advantage.
