Our newest opportunity is for a talented MEP Inspector to join our team based in RAK, UAE.
The MEP Inspector will be responsible for providing on‑site supervision and technical support for all MEP engineering aspects of the project. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contract specifications.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Overseeing the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable local codes, standards, regulations, and project specifications in the country where the project is located.
- Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents submitted by contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP works and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and safety standards.
- Inspecting and testing MEP installations at various stages of construction to verify functionality, quality, and compliance with design intent.
- Investigating and resolving MEP‑related issues, clashes, or defects arising during construction, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed records of MEP inspections, testing results, approvals, and non‑conformance reports for quality assurance and project documentation purposes.
- Ensuring all MEP activities on site are being executed safely by implementing and enforcing safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, and addressing potential hazards promptly.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the project and construction teams on all MEP‑related matters, including resolving technical queries, coordinating interdisciplinary works, and assisting with the interpretation of drawings and specifications.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience gained from working on Infrastructure projects in the UAE is preferred.
