Brief Summary of the Position
Responsible for preparing, designing, evaluating, and implementing sustainable urban development strategies aligned with national visions, including the North RAK Vision and Framework Plan. The role integrates land use planning, infrastructure coordination, and smart city principles to deliver resilient, liveable, and economically viable urban environments.
Educational BackgroundBachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning or related fields.
Years of Experience RequiredPreferably 2–5 years of experience in urban and regional planning.
Technical / Functional Skills- GIS knowledge (preferred)
- CAD proficiency
- Knowledge of planning regulations and zoning laws
- Data interpretation and modelling skills
- English (written and spoken):
Essential - Arabic (written and spoken) preferred
