Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and supervise the implementation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, ELV (Extra‑Low Voltage) systems, and pass way design.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with international standards, local codes, and client requirements.
• Perform electrical load calculations, lighting designs, and energy efficiency assessments.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and draftsmen in preparing detailed electrical drawings.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that electrical installations meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Address RFIs (Requests for Information) and resolve electrical design‑related issues during construction.
• Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and project handover.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical system design, especially for high‑rise buildings or large‑scale projects.
• Strong expertise in Electrical Work Estimation (EWE), ELV systems, and pass way design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and documentation.
• Hands‑on experience in lighting design, power distribution, and energy management.
• Knowledge of international electrical codes and local building regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and design capabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• LEED or BREEAM accreditation for energy‑efficient design.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes and tools.
• PMP certification or other project management credentials.
• Experience in energy audits and sustainable design practices.
