, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality door hardware solutions across landmark projects. Working at the intersection of design, procurement, and site delivery, you'll ensure every door hardware package meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and performance while contributing to the successful delivery of iconic developments.

About Your Team

You will report to the Technical Department and work closely with architects, consultants, procurement teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project delivery teams to ensure door hardware systems are specified, coordinated, procured, and installed in line with project requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes.

Your Role

As a Door Hardware Specialist
, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing architectural drawings, door schedules, and project specifications
  • Preparing comprehensive door hardware schedules aligned with project requirements
  • Selecting and specifying appropriate door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, panic devices, and access control interfaces
  • Ensuring compliance with fire and life safety regulations, accessibility requirements, security standards, and project specifications
  • Coordinating hardware interfaces with doors, frames, access control systems, and fire alarm systems
  • Liaising with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical queries
  • Supporting RFIs, technical clarifications, mock-ups, samples, and approval processes
  • Assisting the procurement team with technical evaluations, vendor selection, and compliance reviews
  • Reviewing supplier quotations and optimizing hardware selections to achieve value without compromising quality or compliance
  • Providing technical support during installation, conducting site inspections, and resolving installation-related issues
  • Maintaining updated hardware schedules, technical submittals, testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation
What We’re Looking For Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in door hardware specification, package management, or related construction roles
  • Experience working on commercial, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use projects preferred
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and residential door hardware systems
  • Experience with fire-rated and life-safety door assemblies
  • Familiarity with international door hardware brands and systems
  • Knowledge of local authority and Civil Defense requirements is an advantage
  • Strong technical, analytical, coordination, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (door scheduling software is an advantage)
