Job Description
We are hiring experienced Safety / EHS Engineers for Substation projects in UAE
. Candidates must have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction and electrical infrastructure industry.
Job Title: Safety / EHS Engineer
Location: UAE(On Site)
Industry: Substation Projects
Experience
Required:
5 to 10 Years
Joining: Within 30 to 60 Days (Immediate Joiners Preferred)
Certification: NEBOSH Certified (Mandatory)
Eligibility Criteria- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
- NEBOSH Certification
- Mandatory - 5 to 10 years of proven experience in EHS roles
- Experience in Substation Projects(Above 220kv)
- Valid passport with a minimum of 9 months validity
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans
- Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies
- Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance
