- Prepare detailed ELV shop drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with approved design drawings project specifications and applicable standards
- Prepare layouts and installation drawings for CCTV access control structured cabling data and telephone systems intercom public address PA and audio-visual systems
- Prepare containment layouts cable routing drawings equipment layouts riser diagrams and schematic drawings
- Develop system block diagrams wiring diagrams and installation details as required
- Coordinate ELV drawings with electrical HVAC plumbing firefighting architectural and structural drawings
- Identify and resolve drawing clashes and discrepancies in coordination with engineers and other MEP teams
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments site conditions and approved design changes
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable UAE regulations and authority requirements
- Coordinate with ELV engineers site engineers and installation teams
- Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an ELV Draughtsman in MEP or building construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential;
Revit knowledge is an advantage. - Good knowledge of ELV and low-current systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, and public address systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
- Good coordination skills and attention to drawing accuracy.
