About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offers 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub and a five‑star spa and is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director Player Development to join the resort’s International Marketing team.
The Primary Duties and Responsibilities of This Role Are Revenue Generation & Market Development- Drive revenue growth from the WAMI region through strategic player development initiatives
- Identify and cultivate new high‑value guest relationships
- Develop and implement market‑specific acquisition and retention strategies
- Monitor and grow gaming revenue through targeted VIP programmes and events
- Analyze player performance, trip value and reinvestment levels to maximise profitability
- Work closely with Marketing and Gaming teams to align promotional strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑value guests and VIP players
- Oversee VIP service standards and personalised guest experiences
- Coordinate VIP events, hosted trips and promotional activities
- Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure service excellence
- Lead, supervise and manage the Executive Host and Host teams
- Recruit, train, mentor and groom host talent for professional development
- Establish performance goals and revenue targets for the team
- Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on revenue growth and guest engagement
- Utilise database marketing insights to identify high‑potential players
- Track player metrics including ADT, theoretical value, visit frequency and reinvestment
- Monitor host portfolios to ensure optimal player coverage and engagement
- Implement strategies to maximise player lifetime value
- Collaborate with Marketing, Gaming Operations and Analytics teams
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for the WAMI market
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership
- 7–10+ years experience in gaming marketing, player development or business development
- Previous leadership experience managing host teams preferred
- Experience working with international VIP markets preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field preferred
- Strong ability to generate revenue and grow VIP player segments
- Deep understanding of player development and relationship management
- Strategic thinking and market development expertise
- Strong mentoring, coaching and talent development skills
- Ability to inspire a high‑performance culture
- Strong numeracy and analytical capability
- Experience using CRM and gaming management systems
- Ability to interpret database insights to drive player growth
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong VIP relationship management capability
