Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
Aboutthe Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Shift Manager to join theRace & Sportsteam.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Direct and oversee Race and Sports book operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Supervise and support Supervisors and Writers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Monitor wagering activity, payouts, and cash handling to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.
Resolve escalated guest concerns or disputes with professionalism, discretion, and a focus on guest satisfaction.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate operational updates, event highlights, and service expectations.
Ensure the Race and Sports book counter is fully staffed, organized, and stocked with wagering guides, odds sheets, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with Marketing, Guest Services, and Slot Operations to support promotions, tournaments, and special events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global sporting events, racing schedules, and betting trends to anticipate guest needs.
Prepare shift reports, documenting key operational updates, guest feedback, and any irregularities.
Enforce Wynn Resorts’ service standards, AML protocols, and UAE gaming regulations.
About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
4–6 years of experience in sports book, casino operations, or luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or shift management role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
Solid knowledge of sports, racing formats, and betting terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sports book or casino management systems is an advantage.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during major sporting events.
Must meet all regulatory requirements for licensing and compliance.
