We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Techno-Functional Consultant to work closely with CFOs, Finance Directors, Financial Controllers, and business stakeholders at a real estate organization.

The role combines CFO-level business process consulting, finance transformation, Dynamics 365 F&O functional expertise, and technical solution delivery
.

The successful candidate will assess existing finance and ERP processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, recommend best practices, design optimized workflows, and translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.

The candidate will also work hands-on with configuration, solution design, integrations, reporting, customizations, testing, and implementation, coordinating with technical teams wherever required.

This is a consulting-oriented role for someone who can understand the business problem first and determine how Dynamics F&O can solve it, rather than simply implementing predefined requirements.

• CFO Advisory & Finance Process Assessment
• Work directly with the CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, and finance teams to understand business objectives, existing processes, pain points, and operational challenges.
• Conduct finance process assessments and workshops covering Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Identify gaps in existing ERP workflows, manual processes, spreadsheet dependencies, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Assess the effectiveness of the current Dynamics 365 F&O environment and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop current-state and future-state process maps, gap assessment reports, and actionable improvement roadmaps.
• Recommend process standardization, automation, stronger financial controls, and improved visibility for finance leadership.
• Translate CFO and business priorities into practical ERP transformation initiatives, with clear business benefits and implementation priorities.
• Real Estate Finance & Business Process Consulting
• Understand real estate business models, including property development, property management, leasing, rental income, service charges, project accounting, and property-related operating expenses.
• Assess finance processes across multiple legal entities, subsidiaries, properties, projects, and cost centres.
• Support financial management for property acquisition, development expenditure, capitalisation, fixed assets, construction-in-progress, and project cost tracking.
• Review budgeting and forecasting processes for property-level profitability, development projects, rental income, operating expenses, and cash flow.
• Evaluate tenant billing, rent receivables, collections, vendor payments, service charges, and related financial controls, identifying where F&O should integrate with specialist property management systems.
• Support intercompany accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, and management reporting across multiple entities.
• Recommend improvements in financial visibility, project profitability, cost allocation, and period-end closing.
• Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Solution Design
• Lead requirement gathering and functional discovery workshops with finance, procurement, project management, and other business teams.
• Assess existing Dynamics 365 F&O configurations against business requirements and Microsoft best practices.
• Design and configure relevant F&O modules, including:
• General Ledger and Financial Dimensions
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Cash and Bank Management
• Fixed Assets
• Budgeting and Financial Reporting
• Project Management and Accounting
• Procurement and Sourcing
• Tax configuration and financial controls
