Overview
Job title:
Senior SAP FICO & Funds Management Consultant
Location: RAK
Duration: 6 months (can be extended)
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO & Funds Management Consultant with strong end-to-end implementation expertise and deep cross-module integration knowledge. The role requires hands-on experience across SAP ECC and S/4
HANA environments, with the ability to independently lead functional delivery, support complex finance operations, and engage directly with business stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO and Funds Management implementations, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Engage with business stakeholders through workshops to gather requirements, analyze current-state (As-Is) processes, and define future-state (To-Be) solutions.
- Identify gaps in business processes and recommend system enhancements or customizations.
- Configure SAP FICO and FM modules across S/4
HANA and ECC systems. - Manage RICEFW developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
- Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Independently manage Funds Management and Budget Control Management (BCM) implementation and support.
- Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules including MM, SD, HR, RE-FX, and PM.
- Design, test, and deploy finance interfaces and approval workflows, including Fiori applications.
- Support application development, enhancements, upgrades, rollouts, and system migrations.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-user training.
- 10–13 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and Funds Management.
- Minimum of three full end-to-end SAP FICO/FM implementations
. - At least one S/4
HANA implementation (mandatory). - Strong functional expertise in:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Asset Accounting
- Cash & Bank Management
- Proven experience with:
- DME configuration (XML, flat files, and other formats)
- Automatic bank reconciliation processes
- Cross-module integration (HR-FI, SD-FI, MM-FI, RE-FX-FI, PM-FI)
- Experience supporting and configuring Fiori approval applications.
- Ability to work independently across implementation, support, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the Middle East region.
- Background in government, public sector, or utilities environments.
