Senior SAP FICO & Funds Management Consultant

Location: RAK

Duration: 6 months (can be extended)

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO & Funds Management Consultant with strong end-to-end implementation expertise and deep cross-module integration knowledge. The role requires hands-on experience across SAP ECC and S/4

HANA environments, with the ability to independently lead functional delivery, support complex finance operations, and engage directly with business stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO and Funds Management implementations, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Engage with business stakeholders through workshops to gather requirements, analyze current-state (As-Is) processes, and define future-state (To-Be) solutions.
• Identify gaps in business processes and recommend system enhancements or customizations.
• Configure SAP FICO and FM modules across S/4
  
  HANA and ECC systems.
• Manage RICEFW developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Independently manage Funds Management and Budget Control Management (BCM) implementation and support.
• Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules including MM, SD, HR, RE-FX, and PM.
• Design, test, and deploy finance interfaces and approval workflows, including Fiori applications.
• Support application development, enhancements, upgrades, rollouts, and system migrations.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-user training.

• 10–13 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and Funds Management.
• Minimum of three full end-to-end SAP FICO/FM implementations

• At least one S/4
  
  HANA implementation (mandatory).
• Strong functional expertise in:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Asset Accounting
  • Cash & Bank Management
• Proven experience with:
  • DME configuration (XML, flat files, and other formats)
  • Automatic bank reconciliation processes
  • Cross-module integration (HR-FI, SD-FI, MM-FI, RE-FX-FI, PM-FI)
  • Experience supporting and configuring Fiori approval applications.
• Ability to work independently across implementation, support, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in the Middle East region.
• Background in government, public sector, or utilities environments.
