We are looking for an Associate Director – SAP Program Management & Enterprise Architecture to lead and govern the enterprise SAP and application landscape across a diversified group operating in multiple countries and business entities.
This role will be responsible for defining the enterprise application strategy, SAP architecture, digital transformation roadmap, and governance frameworks, while driving large-scale SAP programs, integrations, and application support operations. The position requires a strong techno‑functional SAP leader who can partner with C‑level executives and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, future‑ready digital platforms and standardized business processes across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing- Define and govern enterprise SAP strategy, architecture roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with business goals
- Lead large‑scale SAP programs including implementations, rollouts, transformations, and system integrations across multiple entities and geographies
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture governance, solution standardization, and clean core adoption
- Oversee end‑to‑end SAP solution delivery including design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare
- Drive enterprise integration strategy, including APIs, middleware, and SAP‑to‑third‑party system connectivity
- Lead FIORI strategy and adoption to enhance user experience and enable mobility
- Manage program governance including project prioritization, risk management, CAB processes, and performance tracking
- Own SAP AMS and support model, ensuring SLA adherence, system stability, and continuous improvement
- Drive application performance, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
- Partner with business and executive leadership to drive SAP‑enabled transformation initiatives
- Lead vendor, AMS partners, and system integrator governance
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring cost optimization and effective utilization of IT investments
- Ensure compliance with audit, risk, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
- Build and mentor high‑performing SAP and enterprise application teams
Some of the key competencies required for the role include:
Functional- Strong expertise in SAP enterprise architecture, including ECC and/or S/4
HANA environments - Proven experience managing large‑scale SAP programs across multi‑entity, multi‑country landscapes
- Deep techno‑functional knowledge across core SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, WM/EWM, etc.)
- Experience with SAP integrations, APIs, middleware, and FIORI landscape
- Strong understanding of clean core strategy, enterprise architecture frameworks, and digital transformation
- Experience managing AMS operations, vendors, and large‑scale support environments
- Knowledge of governance frameworks, audits (ICFR, ISMS), and compliance processes
- Strong financial acumen including budget management and cost optimization
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and decision‑making capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging C‑level executives
- Strong influencing and communication skills in complex matrix environments
- Ability to drive change and lead transformation across diverse business units
- High level of ownership, accountability, and execution focus
- Collaborative leader with the ability to build and mentor teams
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 18+ years of experience in SAP consulting, enterprise architecture, and program management
- Proven track record of leading SAP landscapes in manufacturing, FMCG, Oil & Gas, or similar industries
- Extensive experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4
HANA environments - Strong exposure to enterprise integrations, digital transformation, and large‑scale SAP delivery
- Experience managing multi‑entity operations, vendors, and enterprise application ecosystems
- SAP certifications, TOGAF, PMP/Prince2, ITIL, or similar qualifications are preferred
