SAP Basis & Security

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis & Security Consultant to support a Greenfield SAP S/4

HANA implementation for a leading organization in the Power Generation Equipment – Sales, Rental & Service sector. The consultant will be responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing the SAP S/4

HANA landscape, including system administration, authorization design, and GRC compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA database management, and SAP Security & GRC.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6–9 years of SAP Basis and Security experience, including at least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation or upgrade projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration: installation, configuration, system copies, client administration, transport management, and system monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA database administration, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high availability/disaster recovery setups.
• Strong expertise in SAP Security: role design (single/composite/derived roles), authorization concepts, Segregation of Duties analysis, and user administration.
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control (Risk Analysis, Access Request Management, Emergency Access Management) is preferred.
• Good understanding of SAP Net Weaver, SAP Fiori/Gateway security, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience with OS/DB migrations, patching, kernel upgrades, and Support Package/Enhancement Package implementation.
• Knowledge of integration security for SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, and third‑party system interfaces.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently onsite.
• Willingness to work onsite at the client location in Dubai, UAE or Dammam, KSA.
• Lead SAP Basis administration activities including system installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Design, build, and maintain SAP authorization roles and profiles in line with business and audit requirements.
• Perform periodic Segregation of Duties analysis, access reviews, and remediation in coordination with business and compliance teams.
• Manage transport requests, system landscape (DEV/QA/PRD), client copies, and change control processes.
• Administer SAP HANA database including backup/recovery strategies, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Support system upgrades, Support Package Stack (SPS) updates, and Enhancement Package implementations.
• Configure and maintain SAP GRC Access Control processes including access requests and emergency access.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability of the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure system security and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain Basis and Security documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and audit reports.
