Procurement Manager

Position:
Procurement Manager Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements.
• Forecast material and equipment requirements in coordination with project managers, site teams, and design departments.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and value engineering without compromising quality.

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and timely delivery.

• Oversee the purchase process, ensuring timely ordering, delivery, and stock management.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to avoid shortages, delays, or excess stock.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality compliance, and delivery schedules.

• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, approvals, and correspondence.
• Support audit processes and reporting requirements related to procurement activities.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
• Promote best practices in procurement, supplier management, and cost control across projects.

• Prepare regular reports on procurement status, supplier performance, cost savings, and risks for senior management.
• Continuously improve procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier performance metrics.
• Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and supplier innovations relevant to fit out and construction projects.
