Receiving Agent

Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the receiving of goods and services, ensuring all deliveries meet approved quality, quantity, pricing, contractual, and Rixos Hotels standards. The role supports Purchasing, Stores, Cost Control, and operational departments while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures.

• Verify received goods against purchase orders, contracts, specifications, quantities, prices, and quality standards.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the Storekeeper and relevant departments.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate the return or replacement of non-compliant goods.
• Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents are accurately processed.
• Assist the Purchasing Chief with supplier coordination, market and price research, and purchasing activities.
• Support supplier visits, stock counts, and cost control activities as required.
• Coordinate urgent and small-quantity purchasing requirements with the Purchasing Driver.
• Ensure all purchasing and receiving activities comply with Rixos Hotels’ policies, procedures, quality standards, and Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate with the Storekeeper and relevant departments to ensure smooth and accurate receiving operations.

• High school diploma or relevant vocational qualification; a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a Receiving, Purchasing, Stores, or Cost Control role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of goods receiving, purchase orders, invoices, stock control, and supplier coordination.
