Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously, including scraping, sanding, and filling imperfections to ensure a flawless finish.
- Apply paint, stains, and coatings with precision using brushing, rolling, and spraying to achieve desired effects.
- Mix paints and coatings accurately, matching colors and textures to specifications while minimizing waste.
- Protect surrounding areas—including furniture, floors, and fixtures—with drop cloths, tape, and masking to prevent damage.
- High school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational level of knowledge and skills.
- Completion of a painting apprenticeship or vocational training program, demonstrating professional development.
- Possession of a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites and material procurement.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building painting, showcasing practical application and expertise.
