Kitchen & Laundry Technician - Radisson Resort Al Marjan

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Executes repair and maintenance works of all HVAC equipment and systems in the hotel.
• Records daily logs of the critical equipment's like chillers, FAHU's, AHU's ensuring proper operation of equipment.
• Assist the supervisors/ administrator in filing and documentation from responsible areas.
• Attends to maintenance, repair and troubleshoot of HVAC equipment and systems, such as FAHU's, AHU's, FCU's, Exhaust Systems, Ventilation systems etc.
• Understand the hotel operation and be flexible with work schedules and timing, extend support in special occasions.
• Constructive feedbacks and updates to the seniors.
• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
• Assists Engineering Supervisors/ store in-charges to prepare spare parts lists for the any ventilation & air conditioning equipment.
• Participates in Energy conservation Programme.
• Ensures that the Plant Room, Workshop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
• Assist the team members whenever required.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Reports to the Duty Engineer/engineering supervisor/ Asst. Chief engineer.
• Build and maintain good relations within Engineering and other departments.
• Interacts and cooperates with guests and outside contractors as directed.
• Provide additional/ specialized services whenever requested.
• Attend on job / off job trainings when assigned.
• Follow the department and hotel policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere the hotel safety, risk management and emergency policies and procedures.

• Diploma/Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• 2+ years of similar experience in hotel or resort maintenance.
• Knowledge of central AC systems and split units.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
