Maintenance Tasks Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems plumbing HVAC units and general fixtures within the staff accommodation areas Inspections Conduct regular inspections of rooms common areas and equipment to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner Emergency Repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies ensuring minimal disruption to employee comfort and safety Record Keeping Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks repair work and equipment servicing for tracking and reporting purposes Inventory Management Monitor and manage the inventory of tools spare parts and materials Report shortages and assist in requisitions Compliance Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards and building regulations Collaboration Work closely with the Supervisor Employee Accommodation and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support facility improvements Reporting Notify the Supervisor of any major maintenance issues or safety concerns that require further attention or external service providers Cleanliness amp Safety Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all maintenance areas Properly handle and store tools and materials Team Support Provide technical assistance during staff moves accommodation upgrades and special projects involving facility improvements
