As a Production Supervisor, Upholstery Section at ALEC FITOUT, you’ll play a key role in supervising and coordinating upholstery operations within the joinery factory. This is your opportunity to ensure high-quality workmanship, optimize resource utilization, and support timely delivery of upholstery works aligned with project requirements.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and play a pivotal role within the Commercial Department, coordinating with project managers, design, procurement, and production teams to align upholstery activities with project timelines and ensure seamless execution.

As a Production Supervisor, Upholstery Section, you will oversee daily upholstery operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

• Plan, organize and supervise daily upholstery section activities
• Allocate tasks to upholsterers and monitor productivity and performance
• Ensure all upholstery works are completed as per drawings, specifications, and deadlines
• Coordinate with design, cutting, and production teams to resolve technical issues
• Conduct quality checks at various stages to maintain high standards
• Monitor material usage and coordinate with stores for fabric, foam, and accessories
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and output quality
• Report progress, issues, and resource requirements to management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

5 years in upholstery within joinery, furniture or fit‑out environments with supervisory experience.

Upholstery techniques, materials, tools, and workshop workflows.

Fabric handling, foam applications, upholstery tools, and quality control processes.

Qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience; strong technical knowledge of upholstery materials, techniques, and tools; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications; strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills; excellent communication and attention to detail; proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
