The Production Operator III reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for operating equipment and processes, including preparing raw materials and packaging, unloading, packing and labeling, in compliance with legal and company regulations.

• Preparation of raw materials and packaging: review labels on raw material to ensure correct weight, type, and lot/batch number before charging raw materials in mixers and follow production parameters.
• Operating equipment: verify and load raw materials in line with process instructions and procedures, take samples, unload and pack; document process figures and results to satisfy traceability and legal requirements.
• Performing quality control of products from reactors and mixers, making necessary adjustments according to existing procedures, and reporting to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
• Ensuring production follows work instructions issued for the produced item to guarantee proper operating conditions.
• Carrying out all operations in compliance with the Quality and Operating procedures of H.B. Fuller and reinforcing those rules with peers.
• Ensuring initial testing and release of products is completed with no deviations to specifications.
• Ensuring the finished products have a perfect visual appearance that meets the standard.
• Packaging the final product according to instructions and ensuring it meets the standard quality level of HBF.
• Maintaining zero mistakes in the finished product and informing the Production Manager/Supervisor of any labeling mistakes, taking proper actions to correct them.
• Maintaining high quality expectations for all operations and packaging, encouraging peers to do likewise.
• Maintaining machinery and work areas in a clean and proper condition.
• Responsible for own training documentation.
• Implementing and complying with all legal and company EHS policies and procedures, reporting any deviation from safety instructions to ensure a secure working environment.

• Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
• 3+ years’ experience as Production Operator II or 5+ years experience in industrial environment.
• Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions.
• Availability to work in shifts.
