Coal Mill Site Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor coal mills, crushers and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mill systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they cause downtime.
• Control and adjust mill feed rates and settings based on coal quality, particle size requirements and production targets.
• Safely handle and transport coal materials while adhering to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Perform regular field rounds to ensure stable operation of coal mills and report any abnormalities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical or industrial operations is a plus.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience operating heavy industrial machinery, preferably in a coal‑fired power plant or mining environment.
• Certification in operating specific types of milling or crushing equipment is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and operating procedures.
