The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and EHS standards. The role ensures efficient production, quality compliance, and safe operations while maintaining line cleanliness and maximizing productivity in pharmaceutical packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to cGMP principles and maintain them effectively.
- Organize the machine and line for packaging.
- Follow gowning procedure as per the SOP.
- Prepare, check, and finish the assigned work in accordance with SOPs.
- Check the bulk and packaging material before use as per dispensing sheet.
- Responsible for line clearance.
- Perform the machine operation and cleaning as per SOP.
- Check product weight as per the limit & weighing operation for packaging process using a calibrated scale.
- Execute batch packaging documents as per SOP.
- Report any mistake or technical fault to the line boss/designee immediately.
- Track the line capacity every hour and help maximise line efficiency.
- Keep the line clean between batches and at the end of the shift.
- Execute daily operations in compliance with EMS and HSE standards, using appropriate PPE and safe practices.
- Identify, reduce, and prevent environmental impacts and operational risks.
- Contribute to EHS activities, audits, and continual improvement initiatives.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by superiors.
- Diploma in Mechanical.
- 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English.
- Disciplined and open to new learnings.
- Good process compliance and implementation skills.
- Basic command in English.
- Responsible approach, high accountability & ownership.
- Strong understanding and practice of cost consciousness.
- Good time and task management.
