Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and performance of the Production Department, including production operations, manpower management, facility maintenance, and air-conditioning (A/C) maintenance activities. The role is responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved in line with the annual budget while maintaining product quality, operational efficiency, equipment reliability, cost control, and workplace safety.

• Manage and supervise overall production operations, production plants, manpower, and daily activities.
• Plan and achieve production targets in line with the annual budget and sales requirements.
• Ensure finished products meet required quality standards.
• Manage production machinery, fleet, facility, and A/C maintenance activities.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance and coordinate breakdown repairs with the Workshop.
• Ensure optimum machinery performance and minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate with Sales, Crusher, Purchase, Stores, and Workshop for smooth operations.
• Forecast and arrange required spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Prepare production and maintenance reports and provide regular updates to the General Manager.
• Prepare and monitor the annual Production Department budget.
• Monitor the performance and duties of Production Engineers, Supervisors, and Operators.
• Ensure all production and maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures.
• Drive productivity, cost efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ experience in production/plant management.
• Strong knowledge of production machinery and maintenance.
• Good leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, budgets, production targets, and maintenance activities.
