- Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding masking and priming surfaces
- Mix and match paint colors to vehicle specifications using paint mixing equipment
- Apply paint and finishes to vehicle surfaces using equipment such as brush or spray guns to apply primer paint enamel lacquer or other non-metallic protective and decorative coatings to automobiles
- Ensure even paint coverage and smooth finishes paying attention to detail
- Dry or bake newly painted surfaces Repair and touch up paint imperfections scratches and dents as needed
- Refinish galvanized outer panels and anodized aluminum moldings
- Apply decals transfers stencils and other types of identification to finished paint work
- Follow manufacturer specifications and recommendations for paint application and drying times
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished paint jobs to ensure quality and adherence to expectations
- Apply or restore anti-corrosion treatments Experience in Auto Painting
