- Prepare accurate cost estimates BOQs and quotations for advertising signage printing branding and exhibition projects
- Calculate material quantities wastage labour production fabrication installation and transportation costs
- Estimate costs for acrylic Forex PVC foam board ACP ACM aluminium stainless steel flex banners vinyl and other advertising materials
- Calculate costs for 3D letters illuminated signs LED signage light boxes shopfront signs pylon signs and custom signage fabrication
- Estimate large-format printing digital printing CNC routing laser cutting vinyl cutting and finishing costs
- Prepare cost breakdowns for exhibition stands event branding promotional displays and corporate branding projects
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations maintain updated material price lists and monitor UAE market prices
- Review technical drawings dimensions specifications and project requirements to determine the most suitable materials and production methods
- Coordinate with sales design production and installation teams to ensure accurate costing and competitive quotations
- Ensure all quotations include appropriate cost margins and meet project requirements and deadlines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Signage Estimator, Cost Estimator in the advertising, signage, printing, or production industry.
- Strong knowledge of advertising materials, including acrylic sheets, Forex/PVC foam board, ACP/ACM, aluminium, stainless steel, flex banners, vinyl, and other signage substrates.
- Hands-on experience in estimating illuminated and non-illuminated signage, 3D letters, LED signs, light boxes, shopfront signage, and large-format printing.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes, CNC routing, laser cutting, printing, finishing, and installation requirements.
- Proven ability to calculate material quantities, wastage, production costs, labour, installation, and project profitability.
- Good knowledge of UAE supplier rates, material costs, and local market pricing.
- Ability to read technical drawings, understand project specifications, and prepare accurate BOQs and quotations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quotation/costing tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualifications are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in general estimation but no practical knowledge of advertising and signage projects will not be considered.
