About the Role
Daffodil International University (DIU) – RAK Campus invites applications for the position of Compliance Officer (Quality Assurance & Accreditation). The incumbent will serve as the principal coordinator for institutional quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness for DIU RAK Campus while maintaining coordination between the Main Campus (Dhaka) and the RAK Campus. The role ensures that all academic and administrative operations at the RAK Campus align with the policies, quality standards, and governance framework of Daffodil International University, while maintaining full compliance with the regulatory requirements of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate MoHESR and CAA licensing and accreditation activities, including preparation of documentation, compliance reports, and regulatory submissions; maintain compliance records and action trackers and support readiness for verification visits and accreditation reviews.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Main Campus IQAC and the RAK Campus to implement quality assurance, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), compliance, and accreditation initiatives.
- Conduct periodic internal quality and compliance reviews, identify gaps and corrective actions, and prepare monthly compliance dashboards and reports for University management.
- Coordinate implementation of University policies and maintain the institutional policy repository and a secure documentation system meeting regulatory and audit requirements.
- Support institutional committees (meetings, agendas, minutes, action plans) and organise workshops on quality assurance, compliance, governance, and accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Quality Management, or a related discipline;
Master's degree preferred. - Professional certification in Quality Assurance, Internal Audit, Compliance Management, or Project Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum two years of experience in higher education administration, quality assurance, accreditation, or regulatory compliance, including institutional licensing/accreditation processes; UAE higher education experience highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of MoHESR and CAA regulatory requirements, higher education governance, and quality assurance systems.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with high integrity and attention to detail; able to work independently across campuses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, LMS, Student Information Systems, document management, and reporting tools.
