Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of construction materials and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans tailored to specific civil engineering projects, ensuring all quality criteria are met.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to address quality issues promptly and to maintain project timelines.
- Perform regular audits of construction sites, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are taken where necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in engineering principles.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles within the civil engineering sector, demonstrating expertise in quality standards.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO), highly desirable, showcasing commitment to quality practices.
- Experience with construction materials testing and familiarity with relevant ASTM and AASHTO standards, ensuring material integrity.
