From electrical systems to long-term maintenance, we focus on technical reliability and sustainable performance, supported by an inclusive and skilled team with a passion for engineering excellence.

Why Join Us?

As a LOTO Coordinator, you will support and govern the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Electrical Safe System of Work across major MEP and commissioning projects.

This is not a routine permit coordination role. You will be responsible for supporting:

  • Energisation strategy
  • Electrical isolation governance
  • Risk mitigation
  • High-risk permit control
  • Client and consultant coordination

You will play an important role in ensuring safe energization planning, effective electrical risk control, and audit readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Role

As LOTO Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop and implement the project-wide LOTO execution plan.
  • Establish and enforce electrical isolation and energisation control procedures.
  • Review and coordinate high-risk isolations and energisation permits.
  • Support the implementation of authority matrices and isolation control boundaries.
  • Monitor energised equipment and isolation status.
  • Support investigations relating to electrical isolation failures or incidents.
  • Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Main Contractor, commissioning, and project teams.
  • Manage permit records, LOTO documentation, and system integrity.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Support manpower planning and daily coordination of LOTO activities.
What We’re Looking For Experience
  • 5+ years of experience within MEP, commissioning, electrical safety, or LOTO-related roles.
  • Proven experience managing permit-to-work, isolation, and energisation systems.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, data centre, or mission-critical projects is preferred.
Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and isolation hierarchy.
  • Good understanding of electrical hazards, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Ability to coordinate energisation sequencing and isolation control activities.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills.
Leadership and Governance
  • Strong decision-making skills in high-risk environments.
  • Ability to work within defined authority matrices and escalation procedures.
  • Experience supporting audits and promoting a strong compliance and safety culture.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, NFPA 70E, ASP, or CSP are highly desirable.
What We Offer
  • Opportunity to support electrical safety governance on high-profile UAE projects.
  • Direct exposure to project leadership, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Structured career development within ALEMCO’s commissioning and safety environment.
  • A culture that prioritises safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
