Position Title: Lab Technician Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Position OverviewH.B. Fuller seeks an R&D Laboratory Technician to support product development, testing, and laboratory operations. This role assists with sample preparation, product evaluation, documentation, and raw material assessments while maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment. The position collaborates with R&D, Quality, Production, and Technical Service teams to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
- Prepare, mix, test, and evaluate product and raw material samples
- Conduct physical and performance testing of products and trial batches
- Record test data and maintain accurate R&D documentation
- Support preparation of technical and regulatory documents, including MSDS and COA
- Manage sample inventory, labeling, and shipment for evaluations
- Assist with new product development, production troubleshooting, and cross-functional projects
- Diploma in a technical field or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline
- 1+ year of laboratory, quality, or R&D experience
- Basic laboratory testing and equipment handling skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with English proficiency
- Authorization to work in the applicable location and ability to meet job-related physical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field
- Experience with laboratory testing, product evaluations, and documentation practices
- Knowledge of chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures
- Experience supporting product development or manufacturing environments
