We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production efficiently and profitably. The Executive Chef will also create and implement menus that meet customer expectations while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Job Description: The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, food preparation, sanitation, safety, budgeting, and cost control. They must ensure recipes are followed accurately, food safety standards are maintained, and service is timely. The role requires leading the kitchen team effectively while maintaining peak performance across all areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in hospitality or restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong time management skills
- Experience with vendor supply ordering
- Effective delegation skills
- At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
- International cuisine experience is a plus but not required
- Valid Food Handler's Certification
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
