Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Waiter to join our team at our restaurant in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have knowledge of restaurant operations. The Waiter will be responsible for greeting and seating guests at tables, taking orders, ensuring that all orders are delivered promptly and accurately, responding to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.

They must also maintain cleanliness of the dining area. Additionally, they should ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers upon arrival at the restaurant; seating them at tables or in waiting areas; providing menus; suggesting specials; answering questions about menu items; taking orders from customers; inputting orders into point of sale systems; delivering food items from kitchen staff to customers’ tables; responding promptly to customer inquiries or complaints; collecting payment from customers after meals have been served;

reconciling cash register receipts with total payments received each shift.

• Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed according to company policy.

• Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area throughout each shift by wiping down tables, chairs, counters etc.; polishing glassware; sweeping floors; stocking service areas with supplies such as napkins, utensils etc.; cleaning up spills or broken dishes promptly.
