Head Butcher

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Head Butcher to oversee our meat department and ensure the quality of our products. The Head Butcher will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating production, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort.

• Supervise the butchering process to ensure efficiency and quality control
• Train and manage a team of butchers and meat handlers
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop and implement meat preparation techniques to maximize yield and minimize waste
• Handle customer inquiries and special orders

• Proven experience as a Head Butcher or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and storage
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Certification in butchery or a related field is a plus
