Electrician at InterContinental Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa

As an Electrician at our luxury hotel and resort, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and staff. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting various projects to keep our resort running smoothly.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and backup generators, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring all repairs meet industry standards
• Install new electrical systems and equipment, including lighting fixtures, outlets, and control panels. Assist with upgrades and modifications as required
• Work closely with other maintenance team members and hotel departments to address electrical needs and support various projects. Provide expert advice on electrical matters as needed
• Be available for emergency call-outs and respond to electrical issues promptly to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong background in commercial or hospitality environments for 2 years
• Relevant electrical certifications and licenses as required by local regulations
• Minimum technical vocational high school in electrical engineering
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks
