General Technician

Description

We are looking for a skilled General Technician to join our team and perform maintenance and repair tasks in different areas. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently, and the capacity to work independently. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in equipment and facilities.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of facilities.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Provide support for emergency maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

• Proven experience as a General Technician or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
