Job Purpose
Purpose of the job is to monitor airside facilities are maintained at highest state of serviceability and audit airside activities to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operation in Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Functional Accountabilities – Area of Contribution – Key Activities- Financial ADP training to external stakeholders
- Conduct movement area inspections
- Provide follow‑me service to aircraft vehicles
- Conduct aircraft turnaround audit
- Facilitate work services in the airside
- Enforce safety regulations in the airside
- Provide ADP training
- Maintain surveillance on all airside movements, vehicle, aircraft, and personnel
- Maintain up‑to‑date departmental records and documents
- Initiate emergency action
- Preliminary investigation of accident/incident
- Wildlife management
- Obstacle management
- Customer and reporting communication
With all department managers and heads. Reasons for interaction:
Coordination for efficient airside operation.
Customs, immigration, airport security department, federal police, airline engineers, air traffic control, national ambulance, wildlife control, pilots, meteorological department, ADNOC, DCA PRO, Alpha Catering, VIP, airport visitors. Reasons for interaction:
For safe and efficient conduct of airside operations.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with all customers and stakeholders, senior management, government agencies, and emergency services to ensure that the operational plans and activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge in: sound knowledge in GCAA regulations; certification in airside operation management;
Safety Management System (SMS); health & safety regulations; airport emergency plans; accident and incident investigation; airside standard operating procedures; basic audit skills. - Minimum five years of experience in airside operations management.
All staff has the following safety responsibilities and is accountable to their supervisor(s) and Head of Department: to comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System and any other instructions or notices issued by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport; to comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training; to advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via one of the following means: report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor, submit a preliminary accident/incident report, and support safety audits and investigations as they occur.
