Storekeeper

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items
• Ensure that stock levels are monitored and inventory is reordered on time

• Receive deliveries of goods and materials
• check them for quality and quantity
• and store them in proper conditions

• Issue materials to relevant departments as requested
• ensuring the accurate and timely supply of goods

• Implement FIFO First In First Out stock rotation to prevent spoilage damage or obsolescence of products

• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded stock

• Prepare regular inventory reports for management highlighting any discrepancies shortages or stockouts

• Ensure the storage area is organized clean and well-maintained following safety and hygiene standards

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions including receipts issues and transfers

• Ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations in the storage and handling of goods

Work closely with other departments to ensure that the right materials are available at the right time and help resolve any stock-related issues

High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in supply chain management or a related field is an asset.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a store keeping, inventory management, or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and handling goods.

Excellent organizational skills to ensure a tidy, systematic storage area and efficient inventory management.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with other departments and providing clear instructions.

Ability to identify inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot issues related to stock or storage.

Ability to lift and move goods and materials as required, adhering to proper safety protocols.

High level of integrity and discretion when handling valuable goods and sensitive inventory data.
