As an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA), you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. You will deliver high-quality medical services, including health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and patient education for our diverse patient population. Requirements The

Minimum Qualifications
  • Physician Assistant: A medical license from the State of Idaho to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant under a Physician’s supervision plus a medical certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required. The medical license must be free of restriction and no litigation or disciplinary actions may be pending against the incumbent.
  • Nurse Practitioner:
    Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Idaho or qualified to receive certification as an FNP or ARNP in the state of Idaho. State of Idaho RN or ability to receive licensure required.
  • Must have or ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, DEA and State of Idaho Controlled Substance Registration numbers.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a primary care provider is preferred.
Your Essential Duties
  • Provide primary care to patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic problems within scope of practice.
  • Consult with other clinic providers, specialists, and health care professionals as appropriate.
  • Supervise or coordinate activities of patient care and support staff.
  • Collaborate with other health care providers as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain quality assessment and assurance system in accordance with the quality assurance plan.
  • Participate in program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Engage in staff meetings, conferences, and continuing education.
  • Participate in shared call system with other providers as needed.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation in patient records, including CPT & ICD-10 coding.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Perform minor procedures and in‑house lab work in accordance with policy.
  • Practice safety, environmental, and infection control methods.
  • Participate in QA/QI activities.
  • Handle frequent interruptions and respond to unexpected situations.
  • Play active role in the Patient Centered Medical Home model.
