Overview
Part of the  MoOngy Group ,  agap2  operates across  14 European countries , providing engineering and industrial consulting services. Since  2018 ,  agap2 Italia  has been supporting clients throughout Italy across the following sectors:  Energy, Oil & Gas, Steel, Hydrogen, Power Generation, and Construction .

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and execute offshore hook‑up and commissioning activities for  Single Point Terminal (SPT)  systems, including:

CALM Buoys,

Hose Systems,

Pipeline End Manifolds (PLEMs).

Ensure the operational readiness of:

Mooring Systems,

Flexible Hoses,

Product Transfer Systems,

Marine Loading Equipment,

Quick Release Hooks.

Coordinate installation interfaces between subsea facilities, PLEMs, risers and topside SPT systems.

Supervise and perform:

Mechanical Completion,

Pressure Testing,

Leak Testing,

Functional Testing.

Verify that all systems are installed, commissioned and fully compliant with project specifications prior to start‑up.

Oversee system energization and integration of:

SCADA Systems,

Telemetry Systems,

Emergency Shutdown (ESD).

Lead multidisciplinary commissioning teams, vendors and subcontractors during offshore operations.

Review and validate commissioning documentation, including:

Punch Lists,

Red‑Line Drawings,

As‑Built Documentation.

Coordinate with marine teams to ensure correct buoy positioning, mooring integrity and offshore terminal stability.

Work closely with HSE personnel to ensure full compliance with:

Permit to Work (PTW),

Marine Safety Procedures,

SIMOPS Requirements.

Support offshore start‑up activities, performance testing and operational readiness for crude or product loading.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:

Mechanical Engineering,

Electrical Engineering,

Instrumentation Engineering,

Automation Engineering,

Process Engineering.

Minimum  12 years of professional experience  in Offshore Oil & Gas after graduation.

Proven experience leading hook‑up and commissioning activities for offshore marine terminals, SPM/SPT facilities or similar offshore loading infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of offshore marine terminal systems and crude/product loading facilities.

Ability to read and interpret:

P&IDs,

PFDs,

Hook‑Up Drawings.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams in offshore environments.

Good understanding of:

Offshore Logistics,

Vessel Coordination,

SIMOPS,

Strong commitment to HSE, quality standards and documentation control.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills

Ability to manage complex offshore commissioning activities under schedule constraints.

Compensation
The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position ranges from  €70,000 to €100,000 , depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The final compensation package will be determined based on technical expertise, relevant professional experience, level of autonomy in managing project activities, and the outcome of the selection process, following objective, transparent, and merit‑based criteria.

For candidates with exceptional qualifications or highly specialized expertise that significantly exceed the role requirements, an enhanced compensation package may be considered, subject to internal approval.
