Our in house produce processing facility, Christine’s Cuts, we got you covered. We distribute our fresh arrivals 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. You can count on us to provide nothing less than fresh! Our business, like yours, depends on delivering the very best and since 1939, Sirna & Sons Produce has been doing just that.

Essential

Functions
  • Wash, peel, trim, cut, and portion produce items per daily prep lists and company guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of prep areas, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper glove use, handwashing, and equipment cleaning
  • Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations
Competencies, Education, and Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Active listening skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Speak and write English satisfactorily
  • Valid identification or driver’s license (if appropriate)
  • Expert-level knife skills – Proficient in safe and efficient knife handling techniques for cutting, chopping, and preparing fresh produce
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling and preparing fresh produce in a professional kitchen, food production, or related environment
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
Pay Rate
  • $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Physical Demands
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work in cold and wet cooler environment for extended periods of time
