Join Hallmark Cards as a part‑time Field Merchandiser in Ravenna, OH. This role involves showcasing organization and time‑management skills, building retailer relationships, and serving as the face of Hallmark.

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. You may also work with other in‑store brands as needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Starting hourly rate: $13.00–$15.00 depending on skills and experience.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • Part‑time position with variable schedule.
  • Average weekly hours: 12–18 per week.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device provided by Hallmark; communicate with supervisors and complete required reports.
  • Holiday support: provide additional hours during high‑season periods such as Valentine's, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including on some holidays and weekends.
  • Department resets: assist with installations, fixture relocation, and product section resets, typically notified two weeks in advance.
  • Team support: collaborate with fellow merchandisers across territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Proficient with a digital handheld device for reading and reporting.
  • Reliable Wi‑Fi and internet access.
  • Consistent transportation to travel between stores.
