Schedule:
Variable; 40 Hours/Week and on-call hours;
Some evenings and weekends required

Under the direction of the Program Manager, provides coordination for visitation scheduling, reporting, and supervised visitation for families who have experienced intimate partner violence and those who have recently lost custody of their children.

• Assist non-custodial parents in experiencing a positive environment to conduct scheduled visits.
• Assist staff in the safe exchange of children from the custodial parent to the non-custodial parent for scheduled/court ordered overnight and weekend visits as well as safe return exchanges.
• Establish a trusting relationship with participants.
• Provide supervision of staff and families during the visits by being available during the visits.
• Assist in scheduling visits and assure contact with the various families.
• Collect and report written documentation of events occurring during the visit.
• Enforce program rules as well as maintaining confidentiality.
• Attend required trainings as well as agency and team meetings as requested.
• Provide intervention suggestions to the families we serve in accordance with case plans to assist in the development of better parenting practices.
• Assists in the preparation and submission of service reports per program and agency reporting requirements.
• Participates in team planning, case reviews and program goal achievement when necessary.
• Facilitate monthly staff meetings/trainings and bi-weekly case reviews.
• Assists in creating and maintaining a positive program image in the community.
• Assists in evaluation and continual improvement of program services and activities.
• Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements and educational/certification/registry requirements.
• Models awareness and behavior needed for growth and development.
• Completes Monthly report narratives/excel for agency report.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.

• An understanding of the dynamics of family violence.
• Understanding of confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate well with collaborating agencies.
• List the qualifications required for the position including experience and characteristics.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability, if applicable.
• Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).

Bachelor’s degree or degree seeking in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred. High school degree or equivalent required. CPR and First Aid.

Experience in the field of domestic violence, family/crisis intervention, and working with children.
