Do you have a passion for helping school-age students reach new heights? Do you find yourself cheerleading others as they work towards reaching their goals? Do you love helping students explore what options await them as they grow up? The Wyoming Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is looking for a creative and highly motivated individual to support students as they navigate the transition process of career exploration.
As a Transition Navigator with our Pathways to Progress (P2P) grant-funded program, you will be responsible for the recruitment and case management of students enrolled in the Pathways to Progress (P2P). Your role will also include working collaboratively with a group of dedicated stakeholders, assigned school districts, and a regional Center for Independent Living to help coordinate career exploration services and referrals to mental health programs.
As a Transition Navigator, you will be encouraged to use your creative mind and energy to develop innovative opportunities for students to engage in career exploration through both individual and group activities. You will also put your leadership skills on display as you develop and facilitate local transition council teams to support the P2P program and efforts.

- Recruiting eligible students for the P2P program
- Participating in outreach activities to promote the P2P program
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders, assigned school districts, and Centers for Independent Living
- Provide creative and innovative opportunities for students to engage in career exploration
- Networking with local employers to create positive relationships and opportunities for student work experience sites
- Providing basic case management for students enrolled in the P2P program to ensure they have access to partner services and mental health care as applicable.
- Serving as a mentor to students by offering support, encouragement, and inspiration as they explore their futures
An associate’s degree in counseling, education, social work, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge- Knowledge of Google Suite programs
- Knowledge of complex case management
- Knowledge of local area schools and businesses

Non-exempt - This is an At-Will Employee Contract (AWEC) position
