• Assure recreation sites and areas are operated and maintained in accordance with operation and maintenance plans.
• Reports on the conditions and use of sites and areas.
• Reporting on the conditions of a site and area is very similar to reporting back of unsafe, or hazardous situations.
• Collects data from visitor use monitoring devices.
• Patrol wilderness to ensure areas are operated, used and maintained in accordance with plan.
• Advise visitors about safety, fire prevention and proper and authorized use of recreational facilities.
• Provides detailed information to the public about recreation opportunities, campground fees, available facilities, etc.
