We are recruiting a reliable, decisive SEN Teacher for a specialist provision in Rotherham (S62), ideal for someone who thrives in high‑expectation, SEMH‑focused environments.
About the Role:As an SEN Teacher you will deliver structured lessons and targeted interventions
, set clear routines, and use a confident, no‑nonsense teaching style to keep pupils focused, disciplined, and progressing. You will drive learning through direct instruction, firm expectations, and practical strategies that build independence and resilience.
- Targeted Teaching: Deliver structured lessons, adapted resources, and subject‑driven interventions.
- Classroom Leadership: Maintain clear routines, enforce expectations, and ensure consistent task completion.
- Behaviour Regulation: Apply steady, firm strategies to strengthen self‑control, focus, and discipline.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor academic and behavioural progress, providing clear updates to senior staff.
- Professional Coordination: Work efficiently with support staff, leaders, and external services to maintain aligned standards.
- Experience in SEN, SEMH, teaching, or structured educational settings.
- Strong presence with organised, controlled, and authoritative communication.
- Confidence leading classes and managing behaviour with clarity and consistency.
- Practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to act quickly under pressure.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
- Competitive daily rate of 150‑230 depending on experience.
