Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Construction – Essex
My client is a construction and refurbishment contractor specialising in commercial property projects across London, Essex, and the South East. They are a family‑run business with over 30 years of industry experience underpinning their operations. The company offers a supportive, friendly team with headquarters based in Essex.
The RoleMy client is looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team, working closely with the Surveying Director.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
- Supporting the management of subcontractor packages, including procurement, valuations, and payments
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on cost variations and financial performance
- Supporting the commercial team in contract administration and ensuring compliance with contract terms
Previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry is essential.
