Tax Senior

Our clients are an Essex based Accountancy firm with offices in Rayleigh and Colchester and is a highly regarded and successful accountancy, tax, and advisory firm of chartered accountants.

Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking to recruit either a Tax Senior/Semi Senior in the Rayleigh office.

Working closely with the Tax Director, the ideal candidate will have at least three years practice experience of working within a busy tax department in a similar role.

The responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

· Management of a mixed portfolio of clients to include HNW, Directors, Self Employed, Subcontractors and Partnerships

· Preparation of Tax Returns and self employed/Partnership accounts

· Communicating directly with clients

· Supporting the Tax Director with ad hoc advisory work

· Capital Gains Tax work and 60 day advance filing experience for property

· Dealing with the HMRC

· Preparation of P11D’s

Requirements:

P/Q ACCA, AAT Qualified or 3 year's within practice.

· Possess practical/technical knowledge of personal tax

· Good IT skills

· Strong verbal/written communication skills

· Experience in client facing roles

· Confidence when communicating with stakeholders

· Is proactive
